The exhibition “Iran Expo 2025” is the seventh edition of the largest international event showcasing Iran’s export capabilities, which will be held from April 28 to May 2, 2025, at the permanent venue of international exhibitions in Tehran. This event, with the participation of over 2,500 foreign traders from more than 110 countries and over 800 Iranian companies, provides a unique opportunity to develop non-oil trade and expand economic relations between Iran and other countries. The slogan “A Gateway to Global Trade” and the close cooperation with the Iranian Trade Promotion Organization and other government bodies reflect the geopolitical and economic significance of this exhibition in achieving the country’s strategic goals.

Alongside Iran Expo 2025, in addition to the booths of manufacturing and exporting companies in seven main sectors—including food industry, agriculture and fisheries, industrial industries, handwoven carpets and handicrafts, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, engineering and construction services, and petrochemicals—special sessions were also held. Among the most important of these sessions was the Iran-Africa Cooperation Summit, attended by the head of the Trade Promotion Organization and representatives from the chambers of commerce of African countries, which focused on expanding trade relations and overcoming the practical obstacles to past agreements. Additionally, hosting specialized events such as “A Look at the Future of Iran’s Mining Industry” with the presence of the Saudi ambassador and “Iran’s Exhibition Diplomacy with Three Countries” played a significant role in enhancing economic diplomacy and attracting foreign investment. Overall, Iran Expo 2025 facilitated the elevation of Iran’s international prestige in the export sector and laid the groundwork for new trade negotiations.
