What is BOPE Film?
BOPE film is produced using biaxial orientation technology based on polyethylene resin, resulting in features such as tear resistance, high mechanical strength, and excellent clarity at a thinner gauge compared to conventional films.
This film, made possible by hybrid BOPE/BOPP lines, combines the properties of PE films—such as flexibility, thermal stability, and dimensional stability—with the advantages of orientation technology. The thermal stability of BOPE is up to 150 °C, along with resistance to tearing and puncturing, and it maintains high flexibility even at low temperatures (for cold chain packaging), making it suitable for applications in the food, pharmaceutical, and industrial packaging industries.
Furthermore, the mono-material technology capability of this film makes it more compatible with recycling processes and a greener option compared to more permeable multilayer options such as BOPP or BOPET.
