What is LDPE Plastic Film?
LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) film is a high-quality, non-linear thermoplastic polymer produced through an extrusion process. Due to its branched polymer chains, it has a low density, excellent flexibility, and suitable mechanical strength; therefore, it can perform exceptionally well in applications that require impact resistance, high tensile strength, and adaptability.
Furthermore, it has a low water vapor transmission rate—about 10–14 g/m²·day—and strong chemical resistance against acids and alcohols. It can also form reliable heat seals at temperatures between 100–115°C. These features provide a comprehensive set of functionalities, protection, and ease of use.
